Interpol and Matador,
We love the idea for this competition. Since finding out about it, we’ve been developing a number of ideas we think reflect well upon the music of Interpol. We are admirers of Interpol’s music and, while developing these ideas, have realized how cinematic their music is. We understand that you’re only looking for one idea per submission, but as we brainstormed ideas, we found we couldn’t stick with just one. So we’ve included a few more for your consideration.
We are Midwestern filmmakers and you’ll find it apparent in the films we’ve made. It is our desire to instill a sense of Midwestern-ness in this project, utilizing qualities and experiences that can be found here in Minnesota & Wisconsin.
